Fall is in the air, which means that for tennis players in their junior year of high school, it’s a busy season for recruiting calls. This can be a nerve-racking process, especially when you’re talking with a coach for the very first time. Here are some tips for how to prepare for that first call to put you at ease and make sure you get the most out of it.
A good place to start in preparing for a recruiting call is to spend some time thinking about what the coach’s objectives are likely to be. If you have a sense for what the coach is hoping to accomplish with the call, you can be prepared with the information the coach will want.
